Let's see I haven't been officially employed since I was pregnant with Shelby! I have to say in that time I have out-grown the thought of ever sitting in a cubicle again unless ~ I was doing something truly amazing or needed to feed my family. I'm cooking lunch and desserts at a retirement home. All of the residents seem very sweet and happy with my "yankee cooking" so far. I made a meatloaf today and they had never seen such a thing. Also learned that "would you like a cup of tea" is code for come take a break and be social. One of the girls has a son that works for HP and almost worked for Intel... small world. Everyone is very kind and easy going.
We've found another place to live, I hesitate to say anything because I don't want to jinx us. But, it's not available until May because someone is renting it at the moment. So, we are looking for a temporary place until then so we can get Keshia here with us. We all miss our little furry family member. Please say a prayer for her that she handles the long trip safely.
Time to walk to school to pick up the little ones.
Love & Hugs!
