One step closer...

OK, so we had some good news on the visa front this morning. My father in law found out from the Guernsey immigration that they'd received notice of my application from the embassy. Yeah!!! That means we're getting close.

So, we are now thinking it will be the beginning of November that we make our move. We have started packing up some boxes to ship over. Added a couple more things to my can't live with without list... all my Barefoot Contessa cookbooks and my latest Julia Child cookbook. Between me & Shelby, we're like a traveling library.

On the bright side, if we get to Guernsey in November, we're that much closer to Spring!
