Welcome to our family blog! I thought this would be a fun way to keep all of you updated on our adventures in Guernsey ~ once we finally get there.

It seems like forever ago that we decided to set out on this little adventure and we are still waiting on my visa to arrive. Once it does I will be in a crazy rush to finish up packing and deciding what can I simply not live without for the next year or two? If you were about to do what we are doing, what would you take? What could you just not live without? I look at my little pile of things and right now it's just some books I haven't read, photos, some table runners that I've made and just a few small knick-nacks. Guess it won't be too hard for me to get back to basics. Demi is still trying to figure out how to ship the big TV and coffee maker!

But, during this waiting period we've realized that all things come in time. We've also gotten to spend a lot more time with our friends and family.
